Who we are
Britebot, LLC (“Britebot”, “we”, “us”, “our”) builds and operates AI agent systems for businesses. This policy explains what information we handle, why we handle it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
It applies to our websites, including brite.bot and this site, and to enquiries you send us.
Two different roles
We handle information in two distinct capacities, and the difference decides who you should contact.
Information we are responsible for. When you visit our websites or write to us, we decide what is collected and why. This policy governs that information, and you can exercise the rights below directly with us.
Information we handle for a client. When we build and run an agent for a business, that business decides what data goes into the system and what it is used for. We act on its instructions. Our handling of that data is governed by our written agreement with that client, not by this policy.
If an agent we operate has handled information about you and you want to know why, the company that engaged us is the right place to ask. Write to us and we will point you to them.
What we collect through this website
Information you send us. If you use a contact form or email us, we receive what you put in it — typically your name, your email address, your company, and your message.
Information collected automatically. When you load a page we record that the page was viewed, along with technical details your browser sends: the type and version of the browser, the general type of device, and the address the request came from. We use this to understand which pages get read.
We do not ask for and do not want payment card numbers, government identification numbers, health information, or account passwords. Please do not send them to us.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our analytics assigns your browser an identifier so that repeat visits are not counted as new people. It is stored by your browser and it is not linked to your name unless you have separately told us who you are.
Your browser can block or delete this at any time. The site works without it. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell advertising.
How we use it

- To understand which parts of the site are read, so we can improve them
- To keep the site working and protect it from abuse
- To meet our legal obligations
We do not sell your information. We do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Artificial intelligence
Our business is building AI systems, so it is worth being plain about this.
We do not feed the messages you send us into a model to train it.
Where a system we operate uses a third-party AI provider to read or draft text, that provider processes the text in order to return a result. Which providers are involved in a given client deployment is part of the agreement with that client.
Who else sees it
We use outside companies to run our business. We share the minimum each one needs, and only so it can do the job we engaged it for. By category, these are:
- Website and application hosting
- Product analytics
- Email and internal messaging
- AI model providers
- Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers
We also disclose information where the law requires it, and where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires.
Enquiries are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we have the history if you come back. Analytics records are kept in aggregate. If you ask us to delete what we hold about you, see your rights below.
How we protect it
We restrict access to information to the people who need it, and we use encrypted connections for our websites and the services we rely on.
We do not hold a security certification and we do not claim one.
No website or system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you should not send us anything you would not want disclosed.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Give you a copy of it
- Correct it if it is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop using it for a particular purpose
Write to hello@brite.bot. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, so that we do not hand your information to someone else. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
If the request concerns information we handle for a client, we will tell you so and direct you to that client.
If you are in California
You have the rights listed above, and in addition the right to know what categories of personal information we have collected, the purposes we collected them for, and the categories of third parties we disclosed them to. The answers are in the sections above.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
If you are in the UK, EU or Switzerland
We rely on the following legal bases: your consent, where we have asked for it; the performance of a contract, where you are doing business with us; our legitimate interest in running and improving our own website; and compliance with legal obligations.
We are based in the United States, so information you send us is handled there. Where we transfer personal data out of the UK, EEA or Switzerland, we use the safeguards required by the applicable law.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. You are welcome to raise it with us first, but you do not have to.
Children
Our websites and services are for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the updated version here and change the date at the top. If a change is significant we will say so rather than leaving you to spot it.
